The Federal Government has warned the international community not to interfere with the nation’s electoral process.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu reminded them of their promise to ensure that the general elections are credible.
This follows the concerns raised by the United States and the United Kingdom on the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen.
Garba Shehu said, that the Federal Government is keen on a peaceful Nigeria and successful elections.
He noted that the Federal government has ensured the independence of all organs, institutions and arms of government to perform their functions in a manner that is transparent and not lacking integrity whether institutionally or by persons within such institutions or organs and will continue to do this.
