Going to the movies is the easiest plan for hangouts especially impromptu ones. The most annoying part though, is that people bring their bad habits to the cinema halls. Whatever the reason is, we don’t know but read on to know if you are a culprit.
- Kissing Couples
First and foremost, this has to be the most annoying thing you could ever do at the cinema. We can obviously see and hear you guys even though you think we won’t because it is dark!
We know you have seen the movie, but we haven’t. The whole essence of coming to the cinema is taken away when you start spilling every twist and turn in the movie before it even comes. We might as well have a discussion group at our houses and let the movie be the topic of discussion, instead of making it to the cinema.
They are the ones who point out the acting flaws, Screenplay clichés or other possible plot twists that the scriptwriter could have used. Some of us don’t really care about that but if you are the type to do this then you should make out time to critique the movie and channel that same energy into starting a critique blog or vlog.
You can’t possibly save the best seats for people who come in 30 minutes late and not expect us to be furious. It’s annoying enough that we got there earlier than they did but somehow cannot get seats that should ordinarily be available.
It’s almost usually the people who choose to sit at the inner seats that decide to go to the restroom or snacks shop a countless number of times, while we are at the bridge of the climax!
Asides the fact that this is distracting and your snacks get into people’s seats, there isn’t any other reason we can think of that makes this annoying, but we know most of you feel the same.
- Kicking Seats
If you have long legs or restless feet, any seat other than those on the first row or those slightly above the stairs (if applicable) is not for you. Helpful tip: come early enough to find a seat that has enough leg room. This also applies to you if you are guilty of resting your foot on the seats ahead of you. Do better!
- Phone Users
Phones are illegal to use in cinema halls, not only because of Piracy laws but because it is a form of distraction to other movie-goers. Some people though, have the guts to extend towards receiving phone calls. In developed countries, you could get arrested for that or your phone could get confiscated at least.
