Big Brother Double Wahala Fans , get in here!!!
Here is what you need to know, The Big Brother Naija is a reality show held in Africa – precisely, South Africa.
The 1st season was in 2006, 2nd season- 2017, Third Season – 2018.
Now, our main focus is the latest season which happened at the beginning of the year in 2018, themed ‘Double Wahala’ which was a full bucket of Wahala and some. If we are being honest, it was drama-filled, chaotic, a lot of romanz (romance), confrontational at its peak.
20 Individuals with completely different personalities ranging from being feisty, warm, cold-hearted, confrontational, pretentious, misogynist(s), regal, rebellious, ambitious, competitive, intelligent, smartie pants… the adjectives goes on and on.
Anyhoo, back to the point of this article – Just after a year, this housemates are striving, thriving and flourishing in their various field and the ‘bad blood’ that happened on the show pretty much came to life.
The Reunion show started on Monday, 18th of April, 2018 and will be ending on Sunday, 31st of March, 2018.
So far, its been drama, drama and even more drama! what with the housemates bottling up emotions even after the show ended and no chance for them to have a sit down and talk about it.
The first episode had all the housemates except the winner of the season, Miracle in a diary-session setting in which they said what they are expecting from the reunion show and the opportunities that the platform dropped on them
Miracle who was missing in action, is currently in school at Florida – chasing his dreams as a Pilot
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the Host for the show asked direct and tactical questions in the second episode which made some of them a little bit.. uncomfortable but hey, it is his job and he is doing awesome at it.
From that episode, we could tell that Princess and Rico were a ‘thing’ before the house.
Khloe and K Brule were friends with benefit before the show happened.
Anto wanted a relationship with Lolu but he wasn’t having it even after claiming that he wanted one with her after the show.
Alex and Tobi ‘friendship’ has come to an abrupt halt without no words to confirm that but their actions and countenances said yes to it.
The third episode had just the Male Housemates and Ebuka; they got chatty and in my opinion were playing too safe because they were avoiding confrontations and were trying to be respectful of one another – too bland, to be very honest!
Something about some of them exiting the whatsapp group created for the housemates. Tskk!
Welllll, forward to the fourth episode which had just the ladies, wigs were almost… thrown, tons of exchanged words and physical fights?
LOL, looks like Alex was the Queen of the night because she had loads of confrontation with majority of the ladies – particularly, the one with ceec which led her storming off the studio.
Alex got emotional after CeeC told the whole world that she and Tobi had sex, our thoughts!
CeeC had to go backstage urging Alex to come back on set and let them talk it out. Alex said she couldn’t, that she was tired, and she shared one of the most heartbreaking things of the night that CeeC fans once locked her inside a toilet at an event.
While the ladies were talking on set, Alex came back and walked towards Cee C which ended up with a warm embrace between both of them.
Then Ebuka went on with the intellectual questions, asking who thought BamBam was fake, Alex affirmed to this, she shared how she once heard BamBam speak pidgin with ‘phoneh’, how BamBam was always conscious of the cameras. BamBam said she wasn’t fake, though she was conscious of the cameras but she couldn’t have pulled off consistently being fake for that long
Then suddenly, Ahneeka was making a point stating that if the ladies were going to be friends, they should be true friends- calling out Ifu for trying to sabotage her , Ifu Ennada cut in and before we knew what was going on, an outrageous outburst by both ladies which almost became a battleground. Shoes went off. Ebuka, the security guards and other housemates had to keep them away from each other. Ebuka stated that he was disappointed at them.
Ahneeka apologized and explained what she was trying to say, Ifu apologized too, Princess made a confessional statement about wanting to understand CeeC for who she is (looks like princess wants to be CeeC’s friends)
All in all, it was a night of un-bottling of emotions, honesty and forgiveness!
Looking forward to today’s episode – seems its going to be calm after the previous episode’s storm!
